We are delighted to announce that dreeemwave has won Greece's Business & Innovation Award 2026 by British Council. This highly prestigious award marks an important milestone in acknowledging the international impact of Dr Alex Stamatiadis' research in algorithmic music generation, and its realisation in state-of-the-art software such as Bassliner. It validates a vision that extends beyond mere technology, into breakthrough creation and application of scientific knowledge on how musical cognition works.

The distinguished award ceremony took place on Wednesday, February 4, in Athens. It was hosted by His Majesty's Ambassador to Greece Matthew Lodge, the Director of the British Council for Greece and Cyprus Anastasia Andritsou, and it was also graced by the presence of prominent figures from the country's cultural and political spheres. The British Council and the British Embassy honoured four leaders in the fields of science, entrepreneurship, culture, and social action who transformed their UK-influenced knowledge into work with both national and global impact.
